Our approach: natural, not overdone
The best cosmetic work is the kind people notice without being able to say why. We start by listening to what you'd like to change, then look at your teeth, gums, bite and facial features together. Some patients need only whitening. Others benefit from a mix of treatments. We'll recommend the most conservative approach that gets you where you want to be.
Professional teeth whitening
Over-the-counter strips can only do so much. Professional whitening uses stronger, dentist-supervised whitening gel for a noticeably brighter result, with steps to manage sensitivity. Before whitening, we check for cavities or gum problems that should be treated first.
Good to know: whitening lightens natural enamel but doesn't change the color of existing fillings, crowns or veneers. If you're planning other cosmetic work, it's usually best to whiten first so new restorations can be matched to your brighter shade.
Porcelain veneers
Veneers are thin, custom-made shells bonded to the front of your teeth. They can change the color, shape, length and alignment of teeth that are stained, chipped, worn, gapped or slightly uneven. Because a thin layer of enamel is usually reshaped to make room, veneers are a long-term commitment. We'll make sure you understand that before you decide.
Cosmetic bonding
Bonding uses tooth-colored composite resin, sculpted and polished directly on the tooth, to repair chips, close small gaps, cover discoloration or reshape a tooth. It usually needs little or no removal of natural tooth and can often be done in a single visit. That makes it a good, affordable option for smaller changes.
Tooth-colored fillings and crowns
Restoring a damaged tooth doesn't have to mean a silver filling. We use tooth-colored composite fillings and natural-looking crowns that blend in with the rest of your smile.
Planning a smile makeover
A smile makeover combines treatments into one plan. For example, whitening, bonding on a few front teeth and replacing an old crown. We take photos, talk through your goals and lay out the options, sequence and costs in writing so you can decide what's right for you. If you're missing a tooth, a dental implant can be part of the plan too.
Healthy first, then beautiful. Cosmetic work lasts longest on a healthy foundation. If we find cavities or gum disease, we'll treat those first. It's often as simple as staying current with your cleanings and exams.
Cost and financing
Most dental insurance plans don't cover purely cosmetic treatment, though restorative work like fillings and crowns is often partly covered. After your consultation, you'll get a written plan with clear pricing for each option. Financing is available for larger treatment plans.
Every smile is different. Results vary based on your teeth, gums, bite and home care, and no specific cosmetic result can be guaranteed.
