Oak & Ivory Dental PLLC ("Oak & Ivory Dental," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit oakivorydental.com (the "Site") and how it is used.
Your health information is handled separately. Information you share as a patient, such as your dental records, treatment and billing, is protected health information under HIPAA. This website policy does not replace that notice.
Information we collect
Information you choose to send us
The Site does not have its own forms. If you call us, email us at support@oakivorydental.com, or message us on social media, we receive the information you choose to share and use it to respond to you and provide care. Please don't send detailed health information by regular email or social media message. Call us instead.
Online scheduling
Our "Book Appointment" buttons take you to our online scheduler, which is operated by our practice-management software provider, CareStack. Information you enter there is collected on our behalf to schedule your appointment and is protected as patient information. CareStack's own privacy terms also apply to their site.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically receives standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested and the date and time of your visit. This information is used to deliver the Site, keep it secure and diagnose technical problems.
The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts and some photographs from Unsplash. When your browser requests these files, those providers receive your IP address and basic browser information as part of the request.
The Site does not use advertising cookies and does not sell your personal information. If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy before doing so.

How we share information

The Site links to third-party sites such as Facebook, Instagram, Google Maps and our online scheduler. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them online. Parents and guardians schedule care for minors.
Security
The Site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we receive.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
